Today, Stirling Fruit Farms grows over 35 apple varieties. However, we are much more than apples!

One thing in common with all of products is the highest quality. In fact, many Stirling Brand products proudly bear the 'Taste of Nova Scotia Quality Food Program' logo, showing they are the finest Nova Scotia has to offer. We are also a proud member of the Nova Scotia Fruit Growers Association, an active member of the annual Apple Blossom Festival, and contributors to the community food bank.
Cortland

It is an apple with a hint of tartness, yet is sweet compared to McIntosh. It is a nice red color with a greenish yellow background. The flesh inside is snow white. It is excellant for eating and for salads, pies or sauce.
First developed in 1898 as a cross between Ben Davis and McIntosh.
Available from October to June.
