Dr. Smit started our practice in 1980. Initially located in the Colchester Medical Clinic, we relocated to our larger, more comfortable facilites in 1987, the year after Dr. MacDougall joined the practice. Our office is located in a fully renovated and modernized Victorian home. Although the services we provide are of the highest technical and professional level, the spirit and atmosphere in which we serve our patients remains compassionate and friendly. We strive to make you feel comfortable and 'at home' when you are in our care.

- Thorough eye health examinations for patients of all ages.
- Complete eye-glass dispensing services (including a Buy 1 - Get 1 selection).
- Professional contact lens fitting services including bifocal, astigmatism, disposable and 30 day continuous wear lenses.
- Safety eyewear for work, leisure and sporting activities.
- Pre and post-operative counselling and care for patients who wish to have laser vision correction.
- Emergency 'red-eye' treatment for foreign body removal and treatment of eye and eyelid infections.
- Treatment of allergic and 'hayfever' reactions of the eyes.
