Back in the early 70's during the oil crisis, more people were turning to wood heating as a way to combat the rising costs of oil heating. I saw the need in my area for a chimney sweep to clean these now sooted up chimneys.
I studied the craft and with the help of my local radio station and newspaper, Ye Olde Chimney Sweeps was born. I strive to operate an honest and trustworthy business with the intention of accumulating satisfied, repeat customers and the rest is history.
Our chimney cleaning service is second to none. We will use the proper size and style of chimney brush in cleaning your chimney and fireplace. We always use clean drop cloths and we take special pride in our no mess policy. You can be assured that when we arrive it will be on time and a fully qualified W.E.T.T. certified chimney sweep will be doing the cleaning and inspection of your heating system. We can also remove that stubborn 3rd stage creosote that can not be removed by brushing alone. This method is called Ro-Kleening.
