The Grand River Dog-Chalets is a boarding kennel, where you will find the most reliable care for your dog, while you are away.
Our philosophy is to relate to dogs in a manner that both we and the dogs respect and understand. This means to develop a meaningful relationship based on trust, communication and control.
We'll make your dog happy and relaxed, doing whatever your dog loves to do. This may be as simple as a good hug for your buddy or a long walk where he can sniff the world to his heart's content. It may mean throwing a ball 10 times more than usually or simply having a 'day off' and all that wondrous things (including a good-night-treat on the pillow) that make your dog glad that he's alive.Our philosophy is to relate to dogs in a manner that both we and the dogs respect and understand. The Chalets
Our boarding kennel is equipped with heated, cozy 'chalets' each with two individual suites, roomy enough for Pups own bed and toys and can be opened for a group of dogs from the same family. Every suite provides free access to its own large outdoor run; the dogs are never locked inside or outside.
The chalets are constructed of wood and well insulated. There is no cold concrete and there are no damp kennels.Although the chalets are heated during the colder seasons, every dog is pampered with its own heated mat to help comfort a young dog, or reduce stiffness and enhance mobility for the older pet.
Exercise Area
The outdoor runs open into a large fenced yard (almost 2 acres) where the doggies love to go on nature walks or just run around and play.
