Rahey's commitment continues with the addition of the Frigidaire Appliance Store on July 20, 2000. The Frigidaire Appliance store offers the greatest selection of appliances. High quality and variety are the theme in the Simmons Mattress Gallery (opened 1999) and the La-Z-Boy Gallery (opened 1994) as well.

In the Fall, 2002, the next transition in home furniture shopping has happened at J. R. Rahey's. In addition to a new larger La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery, J. R. Rahey's has added a Sklar-Peppler Furniture Showcase and additional floor space dedicated to both bedroom and dining room furniture. Lastly, for the electronics shopper, a expanded section for digital televisions and other audio-video products.
