Bridgeport Wire Rope & Chain is a 20-year old diversified privately owned Nova Scotia company. Our specialty is equipment and apparatus for securing, lifting and rigging applications. We supply wire rope, chain, rope, web slings, nylon slings, and related hardware to industrial, oil & gas, marine, transportation, logging, mining and fishing sectors.
We have 3 full service rigging shops, complete with proof load test beds. Our certified wire rope inspectors serve both offshore and onshore industries for inspection of lifting wire, web and nylon slings, and related hardware. Our Test Beds are approved by Lloyd’s register and DET NORSKE VERITAS. (DNV)
Bridgeport Dartmouth and Mount Pearl operations are registered to ISO 9001:2000 standards.
Our head office & main warehouse is located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. We have branch offices in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, Moncton New Brunswick, Saint John New Brunswick, and Labrador City.
