Established in 1952, the Margaree Lodge is one of the oldest establishments in the Margaree area, offering fine food and lodging to our guests. To explore Cape Breton, we are ideally located at the junction of the Ceilidh Trail and Cabot Trail.
Cape Breton offers you everything you are looking for when planning an interesting vacation: nature, sightseeing, beautiful beaches, silence, an amazing wildlife and various activities such as golfing, fishing, horseback riding, hiking, kayaking and scuba diving.
Rooms
Our Lodge consists of a total of 32 double-rooms and 2 large suites, which can be found in four different ground level units. On site we have a restaurant, lounge, outdoor pool, antique shop and a fitness center. We also offer a laundry room for our guests with coin operated washer and dryer.

Enjoy the breathtaking view on the Margaree and the highlands while our chef spoils you with our international cusine (for example: charbroiled Tenderloin Steak, Halibut, Atlantic Salmon, Haddock, Lobster, Pizza, Wiener Schnitzel). Relax on our comfortable porch while having coffee and dessert. Our menu has a wide variety plus daily specials. We are fully licensed and offer as well a bar and a lounge with a 10' cinema screen.
