The Membertou Market opened its doors in 2001 and has been serving 2000 customers per day! The Market offers a variety of products including over 100 grocery items, fresh fruit and vegetables, gas, diesel and propane, lottery and tobacco items, and also houses Membertou’s Country Chicken take out: a fast food take out service offering quality chicken and side dishes.
The Membertou Market was designed to provide a much needed 24 hour retail service and employs approximately 50 people. The Market has being doing so well that Membertou is in the stages of creating a second and possibly third location.
