Millcreek Environmental Services provides clients with used oil management, waste water treatment, industrial cleaning, and 24 hr. emergency response services. Vacuum trucks, mobile wash units, and dust control trucks are an important part of our infrastructure.

We operate a licensed, modern, waste oil recycling facility and a water treatment facility on the former Sydney Steel Property. We are a licensed waste oil trucking company and are 100% locally owned.

At Millcreek, safety is paramount. We have an exemplary safety record, with no lost time injuries in the last three years. All staff have been fully trained to meet Nova Scotia Occupational Health and Safety regulations. We are an active participant in the Certificate of Recognition Program through the Nova Scotia Construction Safety Association and have been audited and certified by them. Also; our safety program is monitored by an independent safety consultant firm (Safety Check Inspections Ltd.).

Our staff are expert in hazardous material handling, and are experienced working under supplied air during tank cleaning operations.

Industrial Cleaning
Millcreek Environmental Services provides industrial cleaning services throughout Nova Scotia. Our operating fleet includes: vacuum trucks, a jet rodder truck and a mobile wash unit.

Industrial Waste Water
Millcreek's Water Treatment Plant has a storage capacity in excess of 2.2 million liters, and a potential discharge rate of 250,000 liters per day.

Used Oil Management
Millcreek Environmental Services recovers, reprocesses and reuses petroleum products such as bunker c oil, coal tar, light and heavy oils of all kinds. Our facility has a storage of 800,000 litres. In the early stages of the process, water is extracted from the waste oil and sent to our water treatment facility. Then the petroleum products are heated, and impurities are removed. In the final stage of the process, the now clean fuel is pumped into our tank farm for storage until it is shipped to our customers to be used as industrial fuel.
