The Dartmouth Book Exchange, located on Cole Harbour Road in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia has been at it's present location for about 10 years.

For the past five years, the Exchange has been owned and operated by Wade and Amy McIssac, who first became interested in the used book business through their son, who was looking for a small business to start.

Both with full time jobs, Wade and Amy were only able to find time to work in the store themselves on weekends during the first few years of business. Since July 2005, however, Amy has managed the store full time, with part time help a couple of days a week.

With no previous retail or used book experience behind them, Wade and Amy are excited about how their business has grown and expanded.

They look forward to many years of greeting you in their store.
