Roger Surette's Golf Central is a golf retail business that began in 1985 as a two person operation in a small location in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Over the years our business has grown considerably, with a new and improved store in Halifax and one in Moncton, New Brunswick. In addition, we have expanded our business into the golf gift market by opening, 'Putting Around', a one-of-a-kind store in Halifax---offering a wide selection of gifts for all kinds of golfers.
Golf Central has built its' success on selling brand name products at competitive prices. It has been our great prices, extensive selection, and the quality service that has formed our fine reputation that exists today. We only sell what our customers want to buy, and we will not try to sell our customers something that they do not want. We take our time with every customer to make sure that they are getting exactly what they want and what is best suited to their game. We also have a fully staffed repair shop on site that enables us to regrip, reshaft, and bend clubs to custom fit each individual golfer.
Golf Central staff are selected from the golfing community and in turn understand the unrelenting urge golfers have to improve their game.
We are also a proud member of C.I.G.R.A. (Canadian Independent Golf Retailers Association), an organization created to develop golf retail across Canada. In addition, a registered member of the largest buying group in North America, ‘Golf Headquarters’. With over 220 member retail stores, Golf Headquarters is the largest off course golf buying group in North America.
