NICHOLAS SUMNER PHOTOGRAPHY was founded in Hong Kong in 1997, it was originally named ‘Bigpiepictures’. The company is dedicated to photographic excellence.
Nick Sumner was born in Africa, after studying in England he took up photography as a hobby, then worked for a time in London as a fashion photographer’s assistant. He left the U.K. to spend several years living working and traveling in Asia. He now lives in Halifax, Canada with his wife and two children.
As well as his photography, his writing has also been widely published in periodicals and journals. These include Reader’s Digest, Business Life and The Rangefinder.
Vintage Vehicle Illustrations is a new enterprise dedicated to the reproduction of high quality artwork depicting automotive, maritime and aeronautical subjects. The first release is a collection of limited edition prints of ink drawings depicting English sports cars of the 1930's. These prints are eleven inches by eight and a half inches and printed on high quality acid-free paper. The prints are signed and numbered by the artist and the print run is limited to 500 copies of each one. Each print costs US$40 unmounted, or US$150 for a set of four unmounted but with matched numbers.
