Resurrection Cemetery

Resurrection Cemetery is a non-profit community based organization dedicated to providing a dignified cemetery for all who use our services.

We are located in Sydney Forks, Nova Scotia, Canada, on Route 4 between Sydney and East Bay.

Burial rights at Resurrection Cemetery may be purchased either at the time of need or in advance. If purchased in advance they may be financed without interest over a 2 year period. Burials may be of a traditional full interment or a cremation interment.

Cremations may be placed in a new full size lot or a smaller cremation lot. Ashes may also be deposited in an above-ground columbarium or interred in a previously used full-size lot.

All lot purchase include the opening and closing of the gravesite, Perpetual Care, and a standard marker.
Perpetual Care includes day-to-day care such as grass-cutting, re-grading of lots, leveling of markers, care of trees and shrubs, snow removal on access roads, and all general maintenance within reasonable expectations.

Resurrection Cemetery was established in 1964 as a non-profit service company on land which was once farmed by Charles and Rita Mary MacIsaac of Sydney Forks, Nova Scotia.
It is controlled by a board of directors representing various parishes throughout the area.
