Richmond County Energy

The Richmond County Energy Office was established in the spring of 2003 to attract energy-related industries to Point Tupper. We are comprised of three full time staff dedicated to serving the needs of interested investors. Our work revolves around the promotion of the Municipality of the County of Richmond, its strengths, assets and strategic and economic efficiencies. In short, we demonstrate Richmond’s positive energy to the world.

The Richmond County Energy Office’s primary role is to serve as a facilitator for companies looking to invest in Richmond County’s Heavy Industrial Park. We are the central point of contact for all energy related prospects in the industrial park area and are seen as leaders in the community who are shining a new light on to the potential of this sector.

We supply geographical, marine and infrastructure information upon request and offer extensive site visits in a moment’s notice. From detailed slope maps and statistics on local workforce, to profiles on past investment- our goal is to assist you, the investor, to achieve your goal.
