Sacred Heart Community Health Centre is a 10-bed acute care hospital serving Northern Inverness County. The new centre replaced the former Sacred Heart Hospital. It was constructed in 1998-1999 with the move taking place in July 1999.

A pay phone is available in the patient waiting room.
Gift Shop
Volunteers, under the direction of the Sacred Heart Auxiliary, operate a gift shop at the Centre.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria at the Foyer Pére Fiset, the attached nursing home provides meals to patients, staff and courtesy meals to a family member or volunteer who stays with a palliative care patient.
Chapel
The chapel is located past the patient lounge in close proximity to patient care area.
Other Information
Sacred Heart's patient unit includes two rooms designated as Special Care/Coronary Care Rooms and two others as Palliative Care rooms. The Sacred Heart Community Health Centre currently employs approximately 40 staff members, the majority of whom are bilingual. The facility is attached to Foyer Pére Fiset, a 60-bed continuing care facility.
