The Trailsman Motel

The Trailsman is the only motel in the Baddeck area located on the shores of the beautiful Bras d'Or Lake. On Hwy.105, 1 km. west of Exit 7 (entrance to the Cabot Trail) the Trailsman is an ideal choice for all your island adventures.

The spacious grounds and gardens of the motel lead to the water's edge, where you frequently find Canadian geese with their young or a Bald eagle flying overhead.

Enjoy a swim in our outdoor pool, or relax and smell the flowers in a lounge chair with a spectacular view.
The Trailsman's 55 modern motel units offer views of the lake and grounds. All rooms are air conditioned and offer satellite television, telephones, double or queen beds with private baths.

Our Laundromat is available to all our guests.
