Welcome to the unique experience awaiting you at The Birches at Ben Eoin. Located in the heart of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, The Birches at Ben Eoin Country Inn is the ideal choice whether you are planning a business trip, a leisurely vacation or an evening of elegant dining.
Our philosophy of service, both in accommodations and dining, is based on our own experiences when hosting family and friends and how we like to be treated when traveling. We have invested a lot of ourselves in the structure and interior of the Inn, from the original design of the building to the accessories we used for decorating each room.
The Birches at Ben Eoin Country Inn is a colonial style facility with ten elegantly appointed guest rooms and two luxurious junior suites, all with access to our balcony. Many rooms feature fireplaces and air-jet tubs.Our Grand Foyer welcomes guests with its spacious two-storey open design, grand staircase, fireplace and comfortable seating. The dining room is located just off the foyer and is open to the public and Inn guests.
The inkeepers have paid attention to the small and large details to insure that all guests experience a sense of luxurious relaxation during their stay at The Birches.
Rooms
The Birches at Ben Eoin County Inn was designed to serve all our guests effectively and luxuriously. Our rooms are spacious and each has its own large bath. Our building, dining room and public washrooms are all wheelchair accessible. We have one suite and three rooms on the main floor that can easily accommodate anyone with serious mobility challenges. Every room has a 27-inch colour television with DVD and VHS player as well as a satellite system. We have included an iron, ironing board, and hair blower in all rooms. All rooms have direct access to our balcony which surrounds the building on both levels.
Dining
Malcolms Dining Room at The Birches at Ben Eoin Country Inn is available to both guests and the general public who wish to enjoy elegant dining in an intimate and unhurried environment. The menu offers a wide variety of selections in all three categories – appetizers, entrees and desserts. Our guests are encouraged to relax and take their time while they experience fine food prepared when ordered and presented uniquely.

Corporate Retreats
