Blomidon Farms Ltd. established and incorporated in 1962 in Dempsey's Corner near the village of Aylesford, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Our modern farming operation consists of a blend of tree fruits, located in Aylesford, Nova Scotia. Growing 50+ acres of apples and pears and 8 acres of stone fruits, mainly peaches.
 The farming operation is family owned by Geoffrey & Jodi Hennigar.
Our orchards have steadily been upgraded and now have a large percentage of high density plantings on different support systems.
We also operate a large controlled atmosphere and cold storage facility with packing line. Using Storex storage technology for the atmosphere controls.
Our storage facility has a capacity of 25,000 bushels, controlled atmosphere, and 9,000 bushels cold storage.

Blomidon Produce has supplied markets in United Kingdom, Germany and Barbados as well as local and North American markets with an extensive list of apple varieties including:  - Gravenstein

Welcome to the Peach Pit Farm Market  The Largest peach grower in the Maritimes! Where quality and customer service is our priority!
We believe strongly in supporting our local farming community while supplying you with the best possible products. We carry a variety of other fruits and vegetables, locally produced honey, vinegars, ciders, and dried beans, etc.
We also personally produce jams, jellies, pickles and the like from products available here in the market.
We have approximately 1850 trees on 8 acres. 6 of those acres are in full production with newer plantings of 2 acres.
 Our peaches are all semi-cling or free-stone.
Our peaches are tree ripened and hand picked for the ultimate in flavor and quality.
Our peaches are handgraded to provide the customer with the best possible quality.
We sell most of our fruit through our own market. 'The Peach Pit Farm Market', but also supply other local grocery stores and fruit stands.
We grade our peaches into different grades: 'Tree-Run' and 'Culls'.
