In 1982 the Company was founded to do automotive and welding repairs under the name of TC Welding and Automotive Limited which operated from leased premises for the first 5 years. The company steadily grew and in 1988 Jack M. Goldston, who previously had a 20 year career with Canada's largest Bank purchased a 50% interest. Also, that year with expansion the Company purchased a property in the Burnside Industrial Park and built a new facility.
In 1989 the Company was operating a Welding, Light Fabricating and Boiler Repair Shop, Collision, Paint & Sandblast Shop, and Mechanical Repair Shop for automobiles and light duty trucks.
As the Company grew, it branched out into the area of Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer repairs opening a second facility to house this division in 1993. The Truck and Trailer Shop also specialized in Petroleum delivery systems and is certified to do CSA inspections on Petroleum Delivery Tanks, Propane Delivery Tanks, and Chemical Tanks for The Department of Transportation. In 1996, with rapid growth in the Truck and Trailer, the Company expanded it's premises at 30 Isnor Drive to accommodate it's Truck and Trailer division so that everything was now under one roof in a modern 20,000 square foot facility.
In 1995, the Company was approached by Superior Emergency Vehicles Ltd. of Red Deer, Alberta, to be their Maritime Dealer for Fire Apparatus. The Company took the new challenge and has been very successful in the sale of new Fire Apparatus. Also, to compliment the sales efforts a Service Division has been formed to provide service including mobile to the various Fire Departments in Nova Scotia.
The Company changed it's name in 1998 to more accurately reflect and promote it's business. This name change was accompanied by a re-organization which has three distinct Divisions.
