The Brew Shop is an independent store owned by Neal and Annie McGovern. They purchased The Brew Shop in June of 2005, however it has been in operation for over 5 years. They do everything in their family owned business to ensure their customers enjoy every trip to The Brew Shop. 'We treat our customers as we would treat our family.'
The Brew Shop offers a wonderful selection of quality wine kits, something for everyone from the beginner to the expert. It is only store in the Maritimes that stocks fresh juice in 23 liter pails year round. 'Only the best juice makes the best wine'. They offer a huge selection of beer kits, from can concentrates to premium unfermented micro brewed beer. They also have all the equipment you need to make your wine and beer at competitive prices.
Although the name indicates a brewing business, don't be fooled. The Brew Shop is much more than a supplier of great products to make your own handcrafted wine and beer. They are also a Sears Credit Express. You can pick up your sears orders, return orders you don't wish to keep, and pay your sears account by cash or cheque.
Another amazing thing you will find at The Brew Shop is The Pork Shop. They offer European style fresh pork products, made fresh in Denmark, Nova Scotia. These meats are brought in fresh; never frozen. Not only does The Brew Shop pride itself in customer service, but also in their selection of products. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or new to the hobby, you will find what you are after at The Brew Shop. 'As a small Nova Scotia community store we believe it is important to have products from other Nova Scotia community businesses.' 'From fine Nova Scotians, come fine products'.
