The Lakefront Hideaway is on the beautiful shore of Grand Lake, in Oakfield, Nova Scotia, just 10 minutes from the Halifax International Airport and about 30 minutes from downtown Halifax.
We offer three large decks, on and overlooking this ten-mile lake, with magnificent sunsets and an unspoiled natural forest setting. Pubs and restaurants are just a few minutes’ drive away, and the Oakfield Golf and Country Club is close at hand. Relax on either the upper balcony or one of the lower decks, swim in the clear, clean waters of the lake or explore the area. Pedal boating, kayaking, fishing from the dock or a private barbecue are all available. Or just relax and listen to the haunting call of the loons.
