At Den Haan’s we’ve been hoeing for 49 years. Founded in 1963 by dutch immigrant Jac den Haan, who with his wife Helena and thirteen children, came to Canada through Pier 21 in the early 1950's. Click here to learn more

The company began as a commercial vegetable greenhouse operation but later expanded to include a garden center that has grown into a year round destination for gardening, home décor, and more. In 1999, Jac’s son John with his wife Darlene and three children Luke, Josh, and Regaan and daughter in-law Jodi invested in a modern state of the art greenhouse.

This 3 acre glass range produces tomatoes to be sold all over the Maritimes. After 47 years den Haan’s remains a family owned business that is committed to quality and service.

We grow our own hothouse tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers & green beans. In our Garden Centre is a complete line of annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs & much more. See our large display of garden & home decor products.
