Delmar Construction was formed in 1983 by Delbert Bourque. Delbert had previously been owner, operator of a construction business for 20 years. By 1988, Delmar had grown considerably and had established bonding capability. Projects into the 90’s were getting larger and larger and soon multi-Million dollar projects were common. Recently Delmar has been tendering on Projects up to 9 Million Dollars.

Over the last 10 years Delmar has completed construction projects at a total value of 52 million dollars.

Project Security
Bonding is offered by Delmar. Delmar tenders on projects up to 9 million in value while providing all tendering security required. We have on occasion had to 5 bonds in place at one time. Occasionally several have been multi million dollar projects running simultaneously.

Safety Program
Our commitment to our Safety Program takes precedence over all activities of the company. To maintain this program we will continue to develop, implement and evaluate our heath and safety policy and program regularly. We will ensure that all employees receive ongoing training on health and safety matters. Communication between management and staff is important to our Company. We will ensure the safest possible work environment. Delmar is dedicated to the safety of all workers and to the prevention of all accidents.

Delmar’s own forces perform the following work tasks:

• Carpentry, rough and finish
• Metal siding
• Erecting pre-engineered buildings
• Installation of doors, jambs, hardware, misc. specialties, washroom accessories, etc.
• Demolitions, concrete jack hammering, concrete saw cutting
• Drywall
• T-bar ceiling
• Painting (small projects)
• Sitework in some capacity
