Double Whale Handwoven Designs

Marrie Berkelaar has been handweaving in Lunenburg for the past twenty years where she works out of a tiny studio/showroom in the historic Old Town. There she produces mainly outer garments woven in 100% Canadian wool.

In a world of mass production, it is a delight to find many one-of-a-kind items and someone who will custom-make an item, if nothing in the limited selection of the showroom suits.

Open all year round although the hours may be erratic, especially in the off season.
