J.C. Small Boat Fibreglass & Repairs started in 2002 when a well known supply distributor in south west Nova Scotia wanted a cowl design. From then on, other products have been designed for southwest Nova Scotia's boatbuilding industry.

In 2003 we bought a 9 ft dinghy mold and have added a 14 to 16 ft mold V-bottom hull. Most recently we have added an 18' Cape Island style mold.

Our Services
We specialize in fibreglass molding products for the commercial boatbuilding industry as well as the building and repair of small boats (hull to finish). Most boat models are Transport Canada approved.

Our hulls are hand laid with fibreglass. As our business continues to grow, most of the components used in finishing the hulls are being made with 100% fibreglass materials. The result means less wood subject to rot and less water soakage adding un-neccessary weight.
