Lunenburg County Winery is located in the beautiful South Shore of Nova Scotia, making it the only winery on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. Situated on a drumlin approximately 25 minutes inland from Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, and Bridgewater (Twenty-four kilometers inland from highway 103 at Exit 11 where it lies nestled in the community of Newburne).
The winery is located at Hackmatack Farm, a commercial highbush blueberry farm. come take a pleasant drive into the country and visit us, to taste wine, to pick berries, picnic, or tour the winery and N.S. craft store.
Our winery is also by many great tourist locations, within a mile or two of several lakes, the LaHave River, great country lodgings, and the Parkdale-Maplewood Community Museum. Notorious basket maker Heather Sanft on site!!
Our wines are made using traditionally aged methods using only the finest quality, fresh fruit in season, grown on our blueberry farm in Newburne (Nova Scotia, Canada) or from neighbouring growers in Lunenburg County, the Annapolis Valley and Nova Scotia.
