Bill and Margaret Towndrow have been keeping the historic town of Lunenburg and the surrounding area supplied with everyday hardware and paint since 1989. In November 2007 the store moved to it’s new location on Victoria Road where access is easy and parking is free.

With over 10,000 different items in stock and very competitive pricing it’s not hard to see why customers just keep coming back. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and greet most who come through the door by name. So if you need anything from Benjamin Moore paint for your house to paint for your boat; plumbing and electrical fittings to a piece of sandpaper; a single nut and bolt to a box of nails; be sure to come to Lunenburg Hardware – and bring your dog. Lunenburg Hardware is proud of the services we provide to our customers. Some services are included in the price of the product such as key or glass cutting, others are provided at additional charge to the materials such as window repair.

No extra charge services:
• key cutting
• glass cutting
• screen cutting
• rope and chain cutting

Services for which charges are made:
• re-keying or master keying locks
• window repair (aluminum and wood sash)
• screen repair (aluminum and wood frame)
• splicing and swaging
• decorator services including in-house consultations.

We also provide:
• scaffolding rentals (customers must have fall arrest certification)assembly of purchased items (a modest fee may apply)
• delivery (a charge may apply).

Marine - Products and Services

We are a liferaft service depot for SeaPro/Seamasters. They are a fully certified service depot for DBC, Zodiac, Dunlop and Beaufort liferafts. There is no additional charge for this depot service.
