opika-1™ Kainic Acid - Ocean Produce International (OPI) is now the largest producer of kainic acid (KA) yielding algae in the world. opika-1™ - is a natural mutation from the Palmaria palmata family discovered in 1986 and cultivated exclusively by OPI.
