Sattler's Stained Glass Studio is a stained glass and glass painting studio which produces new contemporary windows, as well as restores antique stained glass windows (in churches and official buildings). In addition, Norbert Sattler developed innovative methods to fire and etch glass, allowing modern artistic designs to be transferred on to stained glass windows. This requires cooperation with the artists and their ideas, and architects and other crafts people involved in a building project. To facilitate this, Sattler's Stained Glass Studio offers accommodation in the Guest House for customers and artists. The close proximity allows the artists and customers to come to terms with their work and orders and to accompany the creative process.
The company also produces stained glass lamps and artistic mirrors as well as melted glass objects, in particular jewelry, plates and bowls.
Sattler's Stained Glass Studio was founded by German born and trained, Norbert Sattler, in 1980 in Scheuring, Germany. He is trained as an artist glazier in the European stained and painted glass tradition. His work exhibits a high degree of technique and finish. The outstanding standart of quality maintained by Norbert has allowed him immediate recognition in the Germany stained glass business. His workshop is one of the top five stained glass workshops in Germany with a clientele of international customers and artists, who come to Scheuring because of his well known skills and service.
