A warm welcome awaits you at Shand’s Lookoff Bed & Breakfast which is located in the beautiful fishing village of Shag Harbour, Nova Scotia.
Come and enjoy the quiet comfort of our home - Everything from a view of the Atlantic Ocean to a chat with a lobster fisherman to a leisurely walk on nearby sandy beaches.
Shand’s Lookoff Bed and Breakfast is owned by the captain of a lobster fishing vessel and sits on a high hill overlooking the shoreline and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.
The Captain’s Quarters is located on the ground floor. This room includes a comfortable double bed and private full bathroom. Glance out the window and take in the beauty of the ocean view.
The Ocean Garden Room with ensuite 4 piece bath, is located on the upper level. It has a double bed and extra space for cots that are available upon request. Absorb the breathtaking ocean view while relaxing in style.
Also on the upper level, you will find a play area for our visitors. There is an assortment of games and toys to keep your little one busy.
Large living / dining area with stone fireplace and beautiful ocean view. Relax and enjoy with a book or watch a little television.
Take a stroll in the gardens and enjoy the ocean view and the invigorating sea air.
A full country breakfast is served from 7:00 - 9:00 am.
