An ideal place to unpack and settle in for day tripping to Halifax, Peggy's Cove, and Nova Scotia's awesome South Shore. This property has a tranquil oceanfront location in the picturesque fishing and boatbuilding village of Indian Point. Our home, which was built in 1910 for fisherman Willie Eisnor, his wife, and four sons, retains much of its original character including rich hemlock and spruce floors.
We are just a five-minute drive from the hustle and bustle of Mahone Bay's town center. Enjoy this peaceful spot; watch the sunrise, relax for the day, then stargaze before a restful night.
We are confident that you will be comfortable in our oceanfront home, which we have decorated in an informal 'stuff-we-like' style.
A relaxing front parlour and two outside decks are for your enjoyment.
While anchored in picturesque Indian Point, you will enjoy wonderful views, early morning solitudes, and starlit nights. We have lived our whole lives in Atlantic Canada and have yet to take the beauty of the 'East Coast' for granted. We often call to one another 'Come see the neat sky' or 'Wow! Look at the water now.'
Stroll or bike through the coastal beauty of our village, chat with the 'locals,' or simply relax while overlooking the water. Our village is proud to have two boatbuilders, lobster fishermen and a mussel farm. We are also in a fabulous area for kayaking with launching close by.
We offer overnight garage space for bicycles, motorcycles, kayaks, & such.
The '59' Chevy El Camino is on site
