Wild blueberry producers Case and Riek Van Dyk of Caledonia, Queens County, Nova Scotia were searching for a way to value- add a portion of their blueberry crop. They decided to pursue the development of a new and unique pure fruit juice product, 'wild blueberry juice.' The product was to be of the highest quality, have a good blueberry taste and maintain as best as possible the wild blueberries high antioxidant cancer fighting properties. The target market was to be the high-end health conscious consumer. At Van Dyk's we have spent over four years of laboratory research and testing to get our product just right and to ensure that you our customers are getting the very best highest quality wild blueberry juice available anywhere!
Product Safety
The production process has been inspected by the Canada Food Inspection Agency.
The product has a screw on cap with a Plastisol? liner to ensure product safety.
The product has an additional heat-sealed capsule for tamper proof -safety.
Each bottle is production coded.
Each production run receives a thorough microbial, chemical and sensory analysis to ensure the safest highest quality product possible.
Product Stability and Shelf Life
The juice is a pasteurized, shelf-stable product with a shelf life of up to one year at room temperature. Once opened, the juice is to be refrigerated and is good for ten days.
