With a motto of “Heart to God, Hand to Man” the Salvation Army exists to meet the needs of people and share the love of God. Posted throughout Canada there are approximately 1360 Stores serving the public with quality clothing and furniture at affordable prices, which can be accessed at any of the two locations in Pictou County. All funds raised by the Thrift Stores help support local families in need, and further the Ministry of the Salvation Army.
