She graduated from the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy at McGill University (Montreal) and award for the top mark in the graduating year. She was recognized with distinction and as a University Scholar. For the past 18 years Julie has worked in the Kentville area mostly in Physiotherapy Private Practice and as a Certified Pedorthist and co-owner of Sole Provider Custom Orthotics and Medical Supplies with her husband Jeff Skaling Along with the above certifications she is also Certified with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. Julie Skaling Physiotherapy Clinic opened November 1st 2004 at 258 Cornwallis Street in Kentville. This building was a renovated Victorian home approximately 100 years old.
