The Cape Breton Regional Hospital opened its doors in 1995 after a decade of fund raising. The hospital is the major referral centre for Cape Breton Island.

Parking
There is parking available at the front and the back of the Regional Hospital which is available to patients and visitors. Cost of parking is two dollars (Twoonie or 2 Loonie coins only). Payment is made upon leaving the lot so ensure you have required change. The change machine is available at the main lobby of the Regional. You can also purchase weekly passes. Telephones
Pay phones are located at the main entrance, on the Level 2, and throughout the hospital in main corridors and various waiting rooms.

Change Machine
A change machine is located in the main lobby of the hospital on Level 2.

Vending Machines
Vending machines are located in the cafeteria on Level 1, outside Fancies Gift Shop on Level 2, and throughout the main corridors on Levels 3 and 4.

Gift Shop
Fancies Gift Shop, which is operated by the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation and run by volunteers, is located on Level 2.

Cafeteria
The cafeteria, located on Level 1 at the rear of the hospital, is open to staff, patients and visitors between 7 am and 6 pm.

Bank Machine
There is a bank machine located outside the cafeteria on Level 1.

Chapel
The chapel is located on Level 2 next to elevators 1 and 2.
