Finishing Touch Centre, a locally owned and operated family business was founded in 1987. Our 20,000 square foot showroom, store and workroom is housed in a century old, restored historic building in Sydney’s downtown district.

Finishing Touch Centre has enjoyed numerous awards and accolades. In 1999, Finishing Touch received a prestigious award from Profit 100 magazine as being recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in all of Canada. Also, in 1999 the Cape Breton Industrial Board of Trade recognized the company with an award for Excellence in Business. Along with these awards Finishing Touch and the Fougere’s have been featured in numerous magazines, including several articles in the nationally published Paint and Decorating Retailer Magazine, Reader’s Digest and Canadian Living magazines.
