In keeping with the famed inventor's tradition, the MacAulay Family has been extending a warm welcome to travelers from around the globe for over 30 years. Originally built in 1850, this 11-acre Nova Scotia vacation resort sits on the shores of Cape Breton's glorious Bras d'Or Lakes, and offers you a breathtaking view, beautiful landscape and a variety of accommodations, including cottages. Meetings
Located on the shores of the beautiful Bras d’Or Lakes in Baddeck only 3.5 hours from Halifax and under 1 hour from Sydney. The Inverary Resort is home to one of Atlantic Canada's finest conference facilities; the MacAulay Conference Centre. This freestanding facility, right on the water, comfortably holds anywhere from 12 to 350 people and is divisible into three separate sections with six adjacent breakout rooms.
Imagine holding your breakout meetings in rooms overlooking the very waters where Alexander Graham Bell pioneered flight in Canada or hosting your cocktail reception on our lakeside boardwalk across from Bell’s summer home.
