Why Goat's Milk Soap: For centuries scientists have known that the ph in Goat's Milk Soap is closer to our own ph level than other soaps. Goat Milk Soap is extraordinarily gentle even to the driest of skin and goat’s milk is renowned for it's richness in protein, vitamins & minerals. Goats Milk contains caprylic acid which is said to help prevent bacterial invasions of the skin. It is now confirmed that alpha-hydroxy acids found in milk have rejuvenating and softening properties. Real soaps contain glycerin which is a humectant which will draw water from the air. A thin layer of glycerin is left behind after you bathe drawing moisture from the air, which helps you stay moisturized throughout the day.

Since glycerin attracts water be sure to keep your soap where they can drain dry and not sit in a puddle of water. This will help prevent them from melting away.

Keldora's Goat's Milk Soap is made from the milk of our own goat herd. We use a process called hand milling which increases the natural glycerin, and makes a hard bar of soap that lathers well and lasts for a very long time.

Each of our bars weighs at least 200g and usually lasts up to 2 months in the shower provided they are allowed to dry out between uses.

This is a list with a description of the different soaps I make to date, though I add new ones once a month or more.

Angel’s Breath - This is truly an intoxicating, beautiful powder/musk blend. Top notes of sweet honey with a floral middle of carnation, lily, and jasmine. A soft powdery base with touches of vanilla, sandalwood, violet, and sweet musk.

Applejack & Peel - It's a wonderful blend of baked apple, orange peel, and spice notes of cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg with a whisper of vanilla.

Asian Green Tea - Asian Green Tea is a strong, delicious and very tea-like fragrance. It opens with bright notes of green tea and bergamot with a whisper of floral notes in the middle and a hint of musk on the bottom for a long lasting scent.

Bay Rum - A wonderful men's scent with light, citrus top notes and a middle of geranium and jasmine, sitting on a base of cedarwood and patchouli and a hint of musk.

Berries & Vines - It is a fresh blend of notes of sweet summer berries, garden fresh tomato and, refreshing lemon on top, with a middle of aromatic rosemary and sweet balsam. The woody base makes this a really long lasting fragrance.

Blackberry Delight - It’s fresh and rich, just like real blackberries.

Black Licorice - Made with Anise essential oil & it looks & smells just like the real thing.

Blueberry Fields - You'll be delighted with this fresh, juicy, wild blueberry scent.

Brown Sugar -Brown sugar is a warm, cozy food scent reminiscent of vanilla, cotton candy, chocolate and caramel with a tiny hint of an orange top note. To add further to the complexity imagine strawberries, plums and anise as well as deeper woodsy notes and musk.

Calypso Spice - This warm, spicy fragrance is the scent of the West Indian Bay tree. The leaves from this wild growing tropical evergreen have many uses including cooking, or crumpled up in bath water for a refreshing soak.

Canadian Sweetgrass - Sweetgrass has been used for centuries by First Nations for both it’s scent and purification rituals. Canadian Sweetgrass has a warm, dry, earthy scent that’s just like real dried sweetgrass.

Casmir Vanilla - It is fragrance is based on Casmir by Parfums Chopard. This intoxicating, oriental fragrance starts with floral orange blossom top, a creamy coconut milk middle and a vanilla, musk dry down. I found that men prefer this scent.

Cinnamon Hearts - This soap really smells like it’s name, very popular.

Coconut Caribe - Coconut Caribe is a plain, yummy, strong coconut fragrance with no extra fruity notes.

Comlpexion Bar - This honey and oatmeal soap has tea tree and lavender oil added. It is a great face soap and seems to help with complexion problems.

Cool Clean Cotton - This smells just like the laundry as you bring it on off the line on one of those warm windy summer days.

Cool Mango Melon - This scent is really mango scented, but it has a touch of vanilla in it so it does tend to go a bit dark.

Cranberries & Spice - This delicious fragrance has opens with a rich, fruity, cranberry top supported by jasmine and light cinnamon in the middle. The bottom of vanilla, and cognac make it long lasting and lovely.

Crazy Cranberry - This is a fresh, fruity blend of cranberry with sweet orange and fresh crispy apples jazzed up with spicy cinnamon. Our soap turned a very cool shade of red.

Crisp Green Apple - This realistic scent is fresh, crisp and tart just like cold, green, delicious apples.

Cucumber Melon - Cucumber Melon is a fresh, clean, fruity fragrance. The scent of fresh, cool cucumbers blended with juicy, sweet melons.

Dragon's Breath - A very popular & sensuous oil. Earthy yet sweet, this is a very dark brown soap. This is my favourite.

Endless Sea - A fresh, clean and airy fragrance reminiscent of the wide open sea with cool waters slapping along the shore.

Energy - A very hot seller!! A wonderful complex blend of citrus including scents such as orange, grapefruit, lemon and lime with hints of pineapple, blackberry and champagne. It kind of reminds me of jelly tots.

English Rose - A very light realistic rose scent, this is another new scent.

Evening Breeze - This charming, unisex breeze fragrance is like sitting outside after a long day. It opens with green and fresh airy top notes with a hint of citrus. The light middle of sweet apple and crisp cucumber is supported by a base of black currant and ylang ylang. Despite the fruit notes, the overall impression is a fresh, cool breeze.

Forget-Me-Not - Forget-Me-Nots, those delightful, dainty, blue flowers with the tiny, yellow eye have long been associated with remembrance. They don’t have any scent, but if they did, I’m sure this is what they would smell like. Starting with a whisper of lemon (like that tiny yellow eye), it moves quickly to a soft, powdery, floral heart of sweet heliotrope, soft violet, and heady jasmine. The finish is a warm, kiss of light sandalwood.

Fresh Air - Remember the first time you opened the windows this spring after the house had been closed up for the long Canadian winter? This fragrance reminds me of that. Fresh citrus and lavender top notes lightly combine with a wildflower middle. The rich base of heliotrope and tonka bean make it strong and clean.

Freshly Cut Grass - With it's green, leafy top and the light floral middle on a mossy base this fragrance smells incredibly like freshly cut grass. For those golf addicts in your life, consider a soap made with this scent, coloured with chromium green oxide to get them through the endless, snowy winters. Amazingly this does smell just likeit’s name.

Ginger Lime - An exciting, complex mix of Ginger and Lime with supporting notes of Lemon, Lilly, Grapefruit and a touch of spice. Another soap high on my best seller list.

Honey Oatmeal Almond - This is a wonderful, nutty fragrance that smells just like real almonds

Icy Blast - A nice, bold and refreshing fragrance that wakes you up and leaves you smelling fresh and clean all over! Great for men!

Jasmine Garden - This is the magical scent of a garden full of delicate, white jasmine flowers.

Lavender - This soap is made of pure lavender oil and ground lavender flowers. If you are a lavender fan you’ll love this soap.

Lemon Dreams - A true Lemon scent.

Lilac Blossoms - This fresh floral with sweet undertones is hands down the most realistic lilac we've ever smelled. It is a long lasting fragrance that smells exactly like the lilac blossoms beside our deck the in spring. This is my best seller and men seem to really like this scent.

Lily of the Valley - This is such a pretty scent that is used in about 14 percent of modern, quality perfumes. This fresh, floral single note scent is just like real lilies of the valley.

Love Spell - You'll love this duplication of Love Spell by Victoria's Secret. Fresh, and green, with notes of mandarin, and bergamot, with a fruity body of pear, with hints of peach and berries, leading to musky base.

Magnolia Petals - The fragrant flowers of the magnolia tree open in spring before the leaves even show. This magnolia is just like the flowers of the tree, pretty and sweet.

Morning Marigold - This bright herbal/floral begins with fruity top notes of peach, cassis, dewberry, and marigold supported by a floral middle of jasmine and rose. Woody base notes with a touch of Javanese vetiver complete this scent.

Musk - Simple , sweet , pretty musk.This is a very popular scent.

Nova Scotia Cranberry Bog - A nice full bodied cranberry fragrance.

Nova Scotia Maple Syrup - My customers tell me this is so true to the name it makes their mouths water.

Nova Scotia Mayflowers - it smells exactly like these flowers. It has turned out to be one of my top sellers.

Nova Scotia Seaweed - This soap captures the essence of the ocean as the gentle waves bring in sea foam and seaweed with the tide. The fresh, green, ozone top with it's heart of clary sage, fir needle, coriander and parsley, and the sea moss base gives you a very different sea scent. Most ocean scents are cool and refreshing, but this one is rich and full. You can definatly smell the salt in this soap and I’ve added sea algie for it’s benifits. If you need something to remind you of what the beach in NS smells like, this is it!

Nova Scotia Spa - Our spa fragrance embraces rich aromas of warm floral accents with honey, vanilla and heliotrope flowers.

Orange Chai- This is not a strong sweet orange but rather a light orange with a hint of tea.

Orange Valencia - It smells like cutting into a nice juicy orange. (Very similar to Satsuma from the Body Shop.)

Oriental Musk - Oakmoss and musk perfectly blended with soft floral and green notes. A scent that both men and women love. I really love this scent.

Patchouli - This is a rich earthy , woody , balsamatic scent which will take you right back to the 60’s.

Patchouli Passion - If you find real patchouli essential oil too strong, you’ll like Patchouli Passion Fragrance. It is softened with just a hint of spiciness on top and an ever so slightly herbal middle. Every one loves this scent, both those who love patchouli and those who don’t.

Pears in Summer - Fresh, pretty, this scent has fruity top notes of sweet pear and summer berries supported by a wet leafy middle and a light sweet musk bottom.

Peppermint - What do I need to say about peppermint, it’s uses include dermatitis and acne. This soap has ground peppermint leaves in it to keep the scent strong. My favorite soap to shower with on a hot humid summer day. If you have a problem waking up in the morning, this is the soap for you.

Plumera - The hypnotic, highly scented flower of Hawaiian leys, this is a must in every floral collection.

Quietude - Soft as a lullaby, this calming scent whispers 'relax'. It will lull you into quietude with just one sniff. Itis similar to Johnsons Bedtime & Bath. This is very popular as a gift bar as it is so light and powdery.

Ramblin' Rose - This is 'wet' and 'wild'. Those who like rose scents really like this one.

Rasperry Fizz - This is fresh, with just the right amount of sweet and tart.

Relaxing - this is a soothing vanilla blend that is sure to please. Described as a grown-up vanilla, this one does discolor cp soap brown. Along with vanilla, the blend contains delicate hints of Lavender, Musk, Jasmine.

Rice Flower & Shea - A soft, delicate scent, ask for a sniffie, it just might be your new favorite!

Rosemary & Mint - This is a refreshing blend of garden rosemary with cool peppermint.This is another one of my top sellers.

Sandalwood - Sandalwood a warm earthy fragrance oil.

Sea Moss & Aloe - This is a very nice fresh clean scent with a very faint note of spice. A new scent & Very popular

Sea Splash - A beautiful, light and airy fragrance. Just picture yourself on a soft, sandy beach looking over crystal, clear blue water. Takes all the cares away.

Soothing Slumber - This is a soft and soothing fragrance with chamomile, lavender and a hint of musk

Spring Rain - Imagine sitting by a babbling brook flowing down the mountain from a glacier. We've got it.

Strawberry Dreams - This is a delicious tangy, yet creamy strawberry fragrance that's very realistic.

Sweet Pea - Picture sweet pea vines in stunning shades of crimson, lavender, rose pink and salmon, fragrant as all get out. This fragrance is a pretty floral beginning with green, fruity top notes of summer berries and apples. A classic floral middle of jasmine and rose leads to a bottom of woods and white musk.

Sweet Violets - Violets have been used since ancient times in perfumery, love potions and medicines. This is a beautiful, sweet, single note floral.

Tropical Vanilla - This is a combination of the coconut and vanilla satin. I made this scent at the request of a customer. Sher wanted something to remind her of the days at the beach on her vacation in Mexico. This scent has now become one of my most popular. This is another dark brown soap due to the vanilla in it.
